Jacob Robinson-Young

Jacob Robinson-Young is Director of Corporate Affairs at Agilia. Prior to joining the business, Jacob served as a Member of Parliament and a UK Government Minister in the 2019 – 2024 Parliament.

Jacob joined the Government in 2020 as a junior ministerial aide, before going on to serve as a Government Whip in the Department for Transport and the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. From September 2023 until July 2024 he was the Minister for Levelling Up, responsible for devolution in England and local growth funding.

Outside of Government, Jacob worked on policy relating to the energy transition and is recognised for his cross-party work on Hydrogen, as the Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on the subject. Prior to his election to parliament, he trained as an apprentice process operator and worked for nine years in Teesside’s Chemical Industry.
